Comment about this piece:  This has been a challenging year for all. With the arrival of Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I’m thinking about (and being thankful for) “home”. Wherever you live, “home” conjures up feelings of safety. A place to rest. A place to be yourself. Through generations, and across boundaries, “home” reminds us of our family and loved ones. If only we had these peaceful feelings no matter where we find ourselves…

This is an opportune time to share this meditation. Home started as an improvisation over my piece “Kairos” from the Naked Piano Transitions Album. You will notice a different piano sound than previous meditations – this one a little more ‘wistful’ and ‘pensive’, You can share your comments below the blog post on my website.
